Mark L. Olson
President & CEO, LTO Ventures
Mark is the father of Lindsay, his 28-year-old daughter, and Leila, his 19-year-old stepdaughter. He founded LTO Ventures in 2010 and it is now the leading consultancy in the U.S. developing housing, employment, educational, and social options for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD). Mark is a recognized expert on state and federal regulations, has served on numerous governor’s commissions, and is a proud graduate of the University of Kansas.
Kathy Veen
Aquatics Director, Memorial Athletic Club and Aquatics Center
Kathy has been in the aquatic industry for 40 years starting as an undergraduate Student Athlete, Rec Sports employee at Sam Houston State and later moving to a Graduate Assistant position at University of North Texas. While in the DFW area, she also worked for GTE Place corporate aquatic program. Kathy was the original Aquatic Director for Memorial Athletic Club and Aquatic Center in May 1989 and currently guides a team of 60+ employees including some celebrating 10-35 year anniversaries at MAC this year. She coordinates schedules for 25 unique user groups each week. One highlight of her MAC career was the design and development of their indoor aquatic center that opened May 1999 serving 500+ members and guests daily. She has navigated major intersection construction, Hurricane Harvey, and COVID while maintaining a aquatic program profit margin.
